Organize pages before sharing a document
Page organization is one of the most common PDF tasks. Merge PDF combines several files in the order shown, which is useful for assembling a proposal, cover letter, and supporting evidence. Split PDF does the reverse by creating individual pages or selected page groups. Extract Pages copies only the pages you name, while Delete Pages keeps everything except the pages you identify. These two operations sound similar but suit different review workflows.
Reorder Pages is intended for a complete sequence change. It requires every page number exactly once so that a page is not silently lost. Rotate PDF changes the saved page orientation, not merely the temporary view in a reader. Before sending the result, open it and check page order, orientation, links, forms, and signatures. Convert between PDFs and images
PDF to JPG is a practical choice for compact previews, web publishing, or systems that accept only photographs. PDF to PNG produces larger lossless images and is often better for diagrams, interface captures, or pages with sharp text. Both converters render every page and place the images in a ZIP archive, which keeps multi-page output together. Higher rendering resolutions improve detail but increase processing time, memory use, and download size.
JPG to PDF and PNG to PDF place each selected image on its own page. You can preserve each image's proportions or place images on A4 or US Letter pages with a margin. Put the files in the intended order before processing. Image conversion creates visual pages; it does not perform optical character recognition, so words inside a scan do not become searchable text automatically.
Edit, inspect, and optimize responsibly
Editing tools handle small but important presentation details. Page Numbers adds a configurable sequence to selected pages. Watermark PDF places repeated text over pages to communicate a status such as “Draft” or “Confidential.” Crop PDF changes the visible page boundary using millimetre margins. Compression is not a single universal operation. A structural rewrite can sometimes remove inefficiencies without deliberately changing page appearance, but an already optimized file may not become smaller. Raster compression renders each page to a JPEG image and rebuilds the PDF, which can reduce scanned documents significantly while removing searchable text, links, forms, and vector detail. The tool reports whether its result is smaller or larger so that you can keep the original when compression offers no benefit.

- Confirm accessibility, links, forms, signatures, and print layout when they matter.
Browser-based tools are convenient, but they are not a substitute for archival validation, digital-signature software, OCR, redaction, or professional prepress systems.
